The Condiment From Hell Story

As a chef I got pissed off when someone slathered ketchup on a dish I'd made before they had even tasted it. There is a great story about the famous chef Wolfgang Puck who refuses to have ketchup in his restaurant. One day a patron brought his own bottle in only to have it smashed against the wall by the irate chef.

For years, in several venues, I fought this battle. Recognizing that this was a losing cause I decided to see what I could do about it. I made a batch of habanero-infused ketchup and it was pretty popular. After several incarnations, I offer the "Condiment from Hell". This works as a pour on condiment, dip and as a bbq sauce. Try it on burgers and fries and you'll never use that horrible store bought stuff again.
